Ceiling Heating
Ceiling Heating is a comfortable and efficient heating method, where the heating appliances are fixed in the ceiling structure. The heating energy is transferred to the walls, floors, furniture and other objects in the room, and from there further distributed to the room air.
Ceiling heating is suitable for private homes and for large buildings, all the way to high industrial halls and sports facilities. Ceiling heating alone creates enough comfortable warmth, but can be also used together with floor heating.
Ceiling heating with Alson heating foilsAlson Heating Foils are installed between the ceiling covering and additional thermal insulation. The heating energy is transferred from the heating foil into the ceiling covering and further evenly into the room. Alson heating foils are mainly suitable for heating of private homes (ground floor as well as upper floors). The foils are fixed (e.g. stapled) in ceiling joists or fixing battens. The foils should cover approximately a half of the ceiling area. Ceiling heating with ceiling panelsThe heating element of Ceiling Panels are tubular heating resistors, which mainly are covered by a panel - in infra-red heaters, however, the resistors are visible. These heaters give most of there energy as heat radiation. Ceiling panels can be used for heating of industrial and commercial halls, storages, public buildings, and sports facilities. In homes, heating panels are suitable for heating of hobby rooms, balconies and terraces. Especially suitable they are in rooms, where heating energy is targeted to a limited area without heating the surrounding air. |

ControlCeiling heating is controlled with a room thermostat that measures the air temperature in the room. If also floor heating is used, the best result is achieved with a combination thermostat, which measures also the floor temperature.
