Installation of charging floor heating
The heating cable is cast inside the concrete slab, in a depth of app. 50 mm. The slab should be app. 100 mm thick. The slab can be cast in one or two (recommended) phases.
Handle the cables carefully during the installation. Do not use a vibrating concrete mixer. Fix the cables with plastic strip - not with wire. Do not walk on the cables.
|
Casting in two phases
The lower part of the slab (app. 50 mm) is cast first. The heating cable is fixed on the slab, and the upper part is cast. This method prevents the cable from damaging during the installation. |

Casting in one phase
The heating cable is fixed onto the reinforcement mesh. Concrete is cast in one phase and the cable remains inside it. |
